Pitch Party (the "app", "we", "us") helps fans discover watch parties, places, matches, RSVPs, attendees, and related event information across iOS, Android, and web. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Account and profile data you provide or that we receive from your sign-in provider: email address, display name, and profile photo (via Google Sign-In). Location data: with your permission, approximate or precise device location to show nearby events; we round stored last-known location to roughly 1 km. Content you create: RSVPs, venue photos, event notes, and other submissions. Device and usage data: app version, OS, device identifiers, IP address, and basic interaction logs needed to operate the service and prevent abuse.
To create and secure your account, sign you in, and show nearby events and venues; to process RSVPs and host actions; to display attendee and host information; to communicate with you about the service; to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or safety issues; and to improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new features. We do not sell your personal information.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the service you request), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the service), consent (for precise location, camera, and photo library access, which you can revoke in device settings), and legal obligations.
With other users when you take public actions such as posting an RSVP, hosting an event, or uploading venue photos. With service providers who process data on our behalf, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Google (sign-in), and our hosting and analytics providers. With third parties when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pitch Party, our users, or others. We do not share your personal information with advertisers for cross-app tracking, and the app does not use Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework.
We keep account, profile, RSVP, and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal identifiers from your records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our Terms.
You can review and edit your profile in the app. You can revoke camera, photo library, and location permissions in your device settings. You can delete your account directly from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. You can also request account deletion at https://pitchparty.app/account-deletion/. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, RSVPs, hosted events, and uploaded content. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or other state privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
Pitch Party is intended for adults and is not directed to children or users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls on our backend. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in method confidential.
Pitch Party is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using Pitch Party, you consent to this transfer.
The app relies on third-party platforms including Supabase, Google (Sign-In and Maps tiles), Apple (App Store and iOS services), and Google Play. These providers have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Pitch Party after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
Questions, privacy rights requests, or account deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
